A beautifully illustrated counting book celebrating landmarks and attractions in Australia's most liveable city.
Joanne O'Callaghan was born in Melbourne, brought up in Perth, lived in Hong Kong for twelve years and now lives in Melbourne. She has been a Marketing and Communications Director and self-published her first book, My Hong Kong, illustrated by Ralph Kiggell, in 2010, which continues to be a bestseller in Hong Kong. Joanne has collaborated with award-winning Chinese artist Kori Song on The Swimmers and Found in Hong Kong. Found in Melbourne is their third book together.
Kori Song's expressive and colourful illustrations reflect her interest in the relationship between cities and those who live in them. Kori graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, China and her first book, Cicada, was a winner in the Sun Hung Kai Properties Young Writers' Debut Competition in 2013.
Listen to the children from Clifton Hill Primary School (Melbourne, Australia) read the text in Chinese (Mandarin).
